New Type of screen changer is the Key to Improve Production Efficiency

　　Mag, a maker of gear pumps, granulation systems, filtration systems and grinders, recently announced that its new mesh changer technology is open to the market.

　　The plunger type screen changer is characterized by Mag's modularization. The double plunger design can customize and adjust the screen changer unit according to the unique process requirements of users.
 

　　The design allows the use of five different filter chamber shapes within the same screen changer shell: circular, for simple circular filter; elliptical, for twice the filter area; arch crushing plate and screen for four times the filter area; leaf disc design, expanding the filter area to 12 times; candle core filter core, for filtering surface. The product increased to 60 times.

　　Despite the many available filter chamber shapes, the switcher still allows users to select specific design and operating characteristics individually, such as electrical or thermal heating, nitrification or stainless steel construction, specific flow channel coatings, and high temperature or high pressure operation.

　　The size range of the screen changer is from CSC-30 to CSC-520, and the filter area is from 2*7cm2 to 2*12.5m2. Its rugged structure and high precision engineering structure ensure reliable and leak-free filtration of all polymer types in extrusion applications.
